#DeBitpay Merchants

Many merchants that use Bitpay to accept Bitcoin payments are not aware of these issues: they don't support many wallets (Copy Link), they block payments by IPs/locations (Copy Link). Please spend a few minutes to draw their attention to this and help them switch to another payment processor.

What to do?

• If you know a merchant who uses Bitpay, post a tweet mentioning their @TwitterId and put the hashtag #DeBitpay (Copy Hashtag).
• Monitor twitter feed with the hashtag #DeBitpay from time to time and join the conversations.

What to tweet about:

• Let them know about issues associated with Bitpay (check links above).
• Ask the merchant to switch to BTCPay Server (Copy Link). It's open-source and has no fees, no middleman.
• Send them the list of awesome bitcoin payment processors (Copy Link).
• Ask for alternative merchants accepting Bitcoin without Bitpay.
